Who We Are

My name is Cappy, and I'm the founder of Americans For Capitalism.  I'm also a highschool teacher who has always believed that pride in God and Country is a good thing.  

A great thing.  

A necessary thing.  

It is a good and necessary thing to have pride in the military that protects our country, pride in the President who leads it (no matter who they are), and pride in the government leaders we elect to make our laws (no matter what political party they belong to).  

I've always taken pride in objectively teaching my students about government.  They always ask me who I vote for and I always tell them to ask me when they graduate.  It has not always been easy to keep my opinions out of the classroom (even though there are many educators who don’t).  I’m not saying that I haven’t made a snide comment from time to time to see if someone catches it.  After all, I am human!  But overall, I believe that I have pointed out the positives and negatives of both parties equally.  But with the current state of affairs of our nation, I don’t know how to do that anymore.  I'm no longer able to speak freely about the ideologies that are attacking our country. Socialism? Really? One of my jokes to my students and friends is if they make a really dumb comment, I will reply with, “What are you, a Communist?”  I have always been impressed with the opportunities we have in this country.  The American Dream is still alive and well!  Social mobility exists for everyone.  Some have advantages, sure.  But if you have an idea or a dream, you can make it a reality.  I mean, let’s face it, I’m a high school history teacher who has no business experience and here I am starting a business during a global pandemic!  But I also have the good fortune to have a strong work ethic (thank you Mom and Dad) and a brain that gives me some wild, crazy, hair-brained ideas.  And I have the good fortune in having a nephew who is an accountant and understands business to partner up with.  I am also blessed to have a talented niece and nephew-in-law that understand that too, AND be able to do the tech stuff and social media!  


My goal for AFC is to unite all capitalists.  To unite patriots. To clearly express how important it is to get out and vote intelligently.  To vote for what America was founded upon.  I am pro-capitalism, pro-entrepreneurship, and pro-American dream.  Let's be clear though.  I have no problem with certain types of welfare programs that are helping the needy.  But when I see "great ideas" in the form of "free handouts," it scares the heck out of me.  Where will this money come from? Will it come from the businesses that create jobs?  Or maybe small business owners who are successful, hard workers?  Is the government going to up their taxes because they have been successful?  Because they have provided jobs for many? Will the government take over because they know how to fix what is NOT broken?  

Nothing in this life comes without a cost.  

President Trump, love him or hate him, has led our country through a hatred and vitriol that I have never seen before.  Now let's be clear, his arrogance and tweeting are sometimes over the top, but there must be something to it because he gets sh*t done and keeps his promises.  I love the fact that he supports our military, police, and firefighters. He is living proof that Capitalism works.  What's wrong with keeping America first?  Isn't that what we elect our officials to do?

One last question.  Why is it not OK to love America anymore?  Why is it not OK to pursue the American Dream by selling bumper stickers and t-shirts?  Why when I am teaching from home using distance learning do I worry about being too “patriotic” and pro-America?   Because I might offend some snowflakes out there who might disagree?  So guess what?  I don’t care!  I am going to be PATRIOTIC.  I am going to be pro-America and I don’t care anymore!  If that means I can’t teach anymore, so be it.  My Dad - may you rest in peace - was the most God-fearing, hard-working, honest, loving man I have ever known.  He loved Jesus, my Mom, his family, and his Country.  He and my mother taught me values that I treasure and have not forgotten.  The past few years have been extremely hard for me, both professionally, and personally.  It has taken a toll on me and my loved ones.  In the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful that maybe, just maybe, I have found another purpose.  I LOVE AMERICA.  I LOVE AMERICAN CAPITALISM. AFC LOVES AMERICA.  AFC LOVES AMERICAN CAPITALISM.  And guess what?  We have the gear to prove it!  We want to join the fight by equipping fellow Patriots with capitalist gear that you can wear proudly!


Keep America Great in 2020.

Why Us?

Hello. We are Americans For Capitalism. We are pro-God, pro-America, pro-2nd Amendment, pro-capitalism, and pro-Trump. We believe we share similar values. Just to give you a little background of who we are: we're a collective of three PATRIOTS (currently made up of a high school history teacher and 2 government employees) who've about had it with the current direction of our country. Just three average guys who've HAD ENOUGH of people treating our GREAT COUNTRY like a garbage dump, with this primarily consisting of the liberal media and politicians. So we decided to use our voice via social media to spread the word of the injustices that politicians are inducing on the American people. We have shirts and bumper stickers for sale but we seem to run into problems with Facebook every time we try to advertise.  In addition, we started a program in which we're assisting small businesses around the country by covering the costs of products for fundraising purposes to help them through this difficult financial time. For example, we helped a small local gym in Windom, MN by purchasing t-shirts, selling them and redirecting a share of profits directly to the business. We work with the businesses to design shirts or whatever products they want for their patrons in order to help them raise funds. Furthermore, we utilize small/local production businesses so we kill two birds with one stone. We're currently working with two other gyms, one in Maricopa, AZ and another in Point Pleasant, NJ that's been fighting to keep afloat. We plan to expand this program with other small businesses all over the country from gyms to bars and restaurants and local mom and pop shops. We'd really appreciate it if you could give us a follow and maybe even spread some awareness (a SHOUT-OUT or SHARE SOME OF OUR POSTS) if you feel so inclined.
